We respect your privacy and your right to adequate control of your personal data. Our general guidelines are simple. We clearly state what data we collect and why we do so. Your data is especially protected by us. We do not sell your data to third parties - neither current nor in the future.

1. The types of personal data we collect

Data you provide us with
We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, such as your name, telephone number and e-mail address, e.g. if you would like to learn more about göldo products and services or if you contact our customer support to obtain assistance in using your göldo products.

Data that we automatically collect
We automatically collect information about you, such as functional data and additional usage data about the use of your göldo products or data collected by cookies and similar technologies when you access our websites. We may collect information such as the type of device you use to access our websites, the operating system and version, your IP address, your geographical location specified by your IP address, the type of browser you use, the pages you view on our websites and whether and how you interact with content on our websites.

Newsletter
We will only send newsletters, e-mails and other electronic notifications containing advertising information (hereinafter "newsletters") with the consent of the recipients or a legal permission. If the contents of a newsletter are specifically described within the scope of a registration, they are decisive for the consent of the users. In addition, our newsletters contain information about our products, services and us.

The registration for our newsletter takes place in a so-called double opt-in procedure. This means that after registration you will receive an e-mail asking you to confirm your registration. The registration procedure is recorded on the basis of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We are interested in the use of a user-friendly and secure newsletter system that serves both our business interests and the expectations of our customers and allows us to provide proof of consent to receive the newsletter.

You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. You will find a link to cancel the newsletter at the end of each newsletter. We may store the e-mail addresses we have unsubscribed for up to three years on the basis of our legitimate interests before we delete them in order to be able to prove a previously given consent. The processing of these data is limited to the purpose of a possible defence against claims. An individual application for cancellation is possible at any time, provided that at the same time the former existence of a consent is confirmed.

The dispatch service provider is appointed on the basis of our legitimate interests according to Art.6 Para. 1 letter f DSGVO and an order processing contract according to Art. 28 Para. 3 S. 1 DSGVO.

The dispatch service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write them down or to pass the data on to third parties.

The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", i.e. a pixel-sized file which is retrieved from the server of our shipping service when the newsletter is opened. In the context of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and time of retrieval are initially collected.

This information is used to technically improve the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined using the IP address) or access times. The statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to the individual newsletter recipients. Hosting
The hosting services we use serve to provide the following services: Infrastructure and platform services, computing capacity, storage space and database services, security services and technical maintenance services that we use for the purpose of operating this online offering.

We or our hosting provider process inventory data, contact data, content data, contract data, usage data, meta- and communication data of customers, interested parties and visitors of this online offer on the basis of our legitimate interests in an efficient and secure provision of this online offer according to Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f DSGVO in conjunction with. Access data (log files)
Our hosting provider charges on the basis of our legitimate interests within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. The göldo offer is not aimed at and is not intended for children under the age of 16. To ensure that your Duesenberg instrument is properly registered and thus optimally protected, you should register your Duesenberg instruments.

When you register your Duesenberg Instrument, the website asks you to enter information such as your e-mail address and address (country, postcode). Performance of a contract
The use of your personal data is necessary to fulfil the contract you have entered into with us - for example to complete the purchase of your göldo product, manage your account, help with delivery problems, process returns, register your instrument, ensure that your göldo product performs basic functions safely, or answer your questions.

We use several appropriate technical and organizational measures and industry standards to protect your personal information to prevent loss, theft, misuse, unauthorized access and disclosure, alteration and destruction. For example, we store the personal information you provide on limited-access computer systems located in controlled areas. In this way, we also ensure that third-party providers commissioned by us carry out appropriate security measures in data centers. In addition, your data is protected during transmission over the Internet by encryption technologies such as SSL or Transport Layer Security (TLS). In addition, your password is stored using a one-way hash function, which means that it cannot be recovered (or disclosed) by anyone, not even göldo (it can only be reset).

You can only access your göldo account data and our services using your göldo user name and password. In order to protect the confidentiality of your personal data, you are obliged to keep your password secret and not to pass it on to third parties. Please let us know immediately if you have reason to believe that your password has been misused. Also make sure you always log out and close your browser when your session is over. Please note that we will never ask you for your password.

Personal data collected by göldo is stored and processed in Germany. göldo has put in place appropriate mechanisms to protect personal data when it is transferred to other countries, for example by using the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

göldo will keep your personal data for as long as we deem necessary to enable you to use the website and your göldo product, to provide services to you, to comply with applicable laws (including laws relating to the retention of documents), to settle disputes with other parties and for other necessary purposes that allow us to conduct our business. All personal information we hold is subject to this GDPRand our internal retention policy. Your preferences regarding communication, marketing and advertising
You can object to receiving direct mail from göldo at any time. Just send us an e-mail: privacy@goeldo.de.
