BlackSmith Acoustic Guitar AAOT Coated Phosphor Bronze
BlackSmith strings impress especially with the high quality of their coating.
BlackSmith coats the entire string and not (like most other manufacturers) only the winding wire, which successfully prevents deposits of dirt between the grooves of the winding and thus guarantees a much longer durability compared to other strings. There are two different types of coating, which the manufacturer calls AOT and AAOT, and they differ mainly in the thickness of the coating. The individual advantages of the two types of coating listed below.
In addition to the coating, the non-wrapped strings of the AOT and AAOT sets undergo a special cold treatment called "Sub Zero", which gives these strings a significant advantage in tensile strength.
AOT coating:
- Significantly longer durability than non-coated strings.
