göldo "Butterfly" String Retainer
The classic string retainer in its "Butterfly" version.
These retainers were used on F-Type headstocks from the late 50s. They are used to add pressure on the nut through a steeper angle of the string.
Usually a single one is used for e- and H-String but two for the addition of the D- and G-String are also common.
Sold by piece.
